 In 2008, AGITEC- specialist in the design and manufacture of mixing and stirring equipment- became market leader with 70% of the agitation market in the French pharmaceutical sector. It also reinforced its position across other industries such as the food, chemistry and nuclear
sectors.
Laurent Mangeolle, director of AGITEC, expects turnover to exceed €3m by the end of the financial year which is an increase of more than 30% compared to 2007. 1/3 of total turnover is attributed to direct export (Europe, China, United States, Malaysia etc.).

AGITEC has had consistent growth for three years thanks to the constant development of new services and products.
SERVICE: Preventative maintenance is a new high added value service put in place by AGITEC in recent years. This new service ensures optimal and targeted maintenance following the delivery of equipment directly to the customer’s site, thus providing the customer with guaranteed and safe production.
PRODUCT: Elsewhere, new products are regularly developed to complement and improve equipment. Following the overhaul of the AGM-FC range at the beginning of 2008, AGITEC launched a new magnetic vessel-bottom agitator on the market at the beginning of September 2008 which disperses and dissolves powder in liquids. A high-performance product, it functions at high speeds of between 1000-4000 revolutions per minute. This product is equipped with the new reinforced guidance bearing AGI-Zir ® as standard, also launched on the market in September 2008.
AGITEC was set up in 1991 and is located in Montanay near Lyon (69). The expertise of AGITEC as a manufacturer is today recognised by many industrial companies operating in areas as varied as chemistry, petrochemistry, paints and varnishes, pharmacy, biotechnology, food industry, water treatment, perfumery etc. It is directed by Laurent Mangeolle and Grégory Badey. Agitec has 15 employees and plans to increase its workforce within 5 years.
