AGITEC®, a specialist in the design and construction of all types of mixing and agitation machine, is strengthening its position on the French and international industrial market. 35% of its sales, corresponding to production of around 500 stirrers a year, are made in France and export sales to European and international markets represent around 35%.
Historic contract in China
AGITEC® has just started up several machines at a plant for manufacturing chemical products (bulk chemicals) in China.
The results were conclusive and well rewarded the efforts invested by our teams since 2009.
In 2008/2009 AGITEC® won the largest contract in its history for the sum of almost €1 million.
This major contract can be summed up in a few impressive figures: the largest stirrers equipped with 132 kW motors, SEWUSOCOME gearboxes capable of transmitting torque of more than 60,000 Nm, 50 tonnes of stirrers in total split between 4 containers, guide heads more than 4 metres high, etc. A well-organised approach, liaising constantly with the project consultants, enabled us to meet this challenge. This contract has allowed AGITEC® to gain a foothold in China’s very closed market and the repercussions should allow us to supply machines to other factories in the same group throughout the world.
REMINDER: AGITEC was set up in 1991 and is located in Montanay near Lyon (69).
